About us

Nigeria Education was created by the DFID-funded EDOREN project. EDOREN was managed by Oxford Policy Management, and has ended in June 2018. This website continues to be provided by OPM, but is not actively maintained. It aims to provide access to a range of information on basic education in Nigeria, including research, researcher profiles, journals and institutions.

About EDOREN:

The Education Data, Research and Evaluation in Nigeria (EDOREN) project was a five year initiative funded by the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID). It generated new evidence and understanding of how best to support equitable access and improved learning outcomes for all Nigerian children through innovation and the sustainable development of basic education systems.

EDOREN was a consortium of leading organisations in international development and education managed by Oxford Policy Management (OPM) and including the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex.
