About us

Nigeria Education aims to provide access to a range of information on basic education in Nigeria, including research, researcher profiles, journals and institutions. It has been developed and is being maintained by The Education Data, Research and Evaluation in Nigeria (EDOREN) project.

The Education Data, Research and Evaluation in Nigeria (EDOREN) project is a five year initiative funded by the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID). It is designed to generate new evidence and understanding of how best to support equitable access and improved learning outcomes for all Nigerian children through innovation and the sustainable development of basic education systems.

EDOREN is a consortium of leading organisations in international development and education managed by Oxford Policy Management (OPM) and including the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex.

Other UK Aid supported education sector programmes in Nigeria are GEP3, TDP, DEEPEN, and ESSPIN
